Alumni Association letter from the President
One year ago, a small group of CTI alumni gathered together to
start an alumni association. Thirty-four graduates and students
volunteered to help as founding members. During the past year, those
who participated in the development of the program have received
immeasurable rewards, the side benefit of volunteering.
We have found a new attachment to and sense of pride in our university
and our school. We have reconnected with old friends and teachers
and have met new fellow alumni. We have rediscovered the excitement
of DePaul sporting events and the challenge of new learning.
We have established an incredible network of business associates
in our chosen fields, senior executives and recruiting executives
in a wide array of commercial and academic fields. Some of us have
even found new job opportunities through our alumni association
connections. All of us have discovered a wealth of opportunities
and friendships through volunteering for the CTI Alumni Association.
But perhaps the greatest reason for giving time to CTI is our connection
to what has become the largest and most diverse computer science
school in the country, a source of pride. Computer science, or information
technology, is a revolution of change, moving so fast none of us
can keep up. CTI is at the forefront of this change. Through CTI
programs and services and the CTI Alumni Association, we can receive
regular updates, continuing education and connections to and discussions
with professionals in other fields.
Volunteer! Become part of the CTI Alumni Association and discover
a new wealth of opportunities, friendships and rewards. Get connected
and stay near your university.
