Alumni Sharing Knowledge:

ASK and you shall receive.
Give time to help a DePaul student and rewards will return to you through DePaul’s Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK). This program, developed by DePaul’s Career Center, connects alumni with students who have similar professional interests. You determine your level of participation, whether that be networking, more extended interaction through mentoring or taking part in special events and programming.

“Currently, there are about 400 active alumni volunteers, but there are almost 1,800 freshman alone. To meet the demand for mentors and contacts, we need the expertise of many more alumni,” says Kathy Kaysen Murzyn, associate director of the Career Center.

As an ASK volunteer, you will receive a training manual, which includes a volunteer membership directory; an annual newsletter; an opportunity to become reoriented to the campus; and information about Career Center services to satisfy your own networking, mentoring, hiring and intern needs.

To learn more about ASK, see the center’s Web site at http://careercenter.depaul.edu. For additional information, write to ASK@wppost.depaul.edu or call the ASK Hotline at (312) 362-8281. Out-of-state alumni should call (800) 437-1898 and request the ASK office.
