TDC 372 Digital Access Services

How do Internet Service Providers maintain their networks and provide advanced services? This course explores the Wide Area Network services provided by the big carriers. Topics include access services over DSL, cable modem, T-carrier, SONET, redundant fiber rings, traffic engineering, Multi-Protocol Label Switching, traffic prioritization, frame relay, VPNs, network neutrality, specialized voice and video network services.
