IS professionals apply their knowledge of hardware, software, business processes and procedures to help organizations improve performance and meet tactical and strategic goals. IS graduates gain employment in a wide variety of positions, including business application programmers, help desk analysts, end user training and support personnel, database analysts, process consultants, user liaisons, and business system analysts. Liberal Studies Program (19 courses)The Liberal Studies Program at DePaul University is the general education portion of the curriculum at DePaul University. Topics include: First Year Program, Sophomore Seminar in Multiculturalism, Junior Experiential Learning and a Senior Capstone. For CTI information, please see the Liberal Studies homepage. Major Field (29 courses)Nineteen (19) Liberal Studies courses (see above) plus the following 29 courses. Although all 29 courses are required, the grouping of the courses into First-Year, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior courses is a recommendation only. See your advisor for help in choosing your classes.
