Requirements for the BS-ECT program for the 2004-05 academic year have changed. Certain courses are being renamed and renumbered or replaced by other courses and new requirements have been added.

If you entered the BS-ECT program on the 2003-04 curriculum, you can stay with that curriculum or you may switch to the newer curriculum. If you have entered the curriculum before 2004 you should meet with an advisor to evaluate your options.

Staying on the 2003-04 BS-ECT curriculum

Some classes required by the 2003-04 BS-ECT are no longer offered. Consult the following table to determine how to complete your degree.

For students staying in 2003-04 CY BS-ECT
If you have not taken:	Then take:
CSC 210	Consider switching to the 2004-05 degree
CSC 319	IT 240
CSC 323	IT 223
CSC 336	IT 236
ECT 250	IT 201
ECT 270	IT 130
HCI 310	HCI 210

Switching to the 2004-05 BS-ECT curriculum

If you switch to the 2004-05 curriculum, you must meet the new degree requirements. Consult the following table to determine which courses you have already taken will count toward those requirements.

For students switching to the 2004-05 CY BS-ECT
