The structure of the prerequisite phase has changed
effective Fall 2004-05. Certain courses are being renamed and renumbered or replaced by other courses.
If you have completed the prerequisite phase for your program, then you need not be concerned with
these changes.
The prerequisite phase requirements for years before 2004-05
are:
- CSC 211 and CSC 212 or CSC 224
- CSC 309
- CSC 343
- CSC 345
- CSC 415
- CSC 416
The prerequisite phase requirements for 2004-05 are:
- CSC 211 and CSC 212, or CSC 224 or CSC 396
- CSC 309 or both CSC 261 and CSC 262
- CSC 373
- CSC 374
- CSC 383
The courses CSC 343 and CSC 345 will be discontinued after
Summer I & II 2004. The courses CSC 415 and 416 will be discontinued after Spring 2004.
To complete your prerequisite phase requirements, you must:
- Complete the Java programming requirement (CSC 211 and CSC 212 or
CSC 224).
- Complete the CSC 309 requirement
