Master of
Science in Distributed Systems
The MS in Distributed Systems degree was retired effective the end the 2005-2006 academic year.
While we are not taking any more applicants for this program, current students may finish it
according to their current course catalog. Any current student needing help to complete the
degree can also contact their faculty advisor for additional assistance.
CTI created the MS in Distributed Systems to allow innovation in and provide focus to curricular
offerings related to distributed processing. Over time, distributed systems has become core material
throughout IT, particularly in fields such as computer science, software engineering, networking,
and information security. The topics and technologies that once distinguished the MS in DS as a
course of study now permeate our other degree programs.
