Bachelor of Science in Computer Games Development 2008

Computer gaming is a multi-billion dollar industry in the U.S and offers diverse career options for IT professionals. The field of computer games development is a versatile one. Successful game developers have a broad knowledge of areas such as game play theory, game design, 3D modeling and animation, physics, programming languages, and artificial intelligence.

With this in mind, the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program in Computer Games Development is interdisciplinary in its focus, drawing from courses in mathematics, programming, game design theory, physics and animation.

Students graduating from the B.S. program in Computer Games Development will be prepared for careers such as character and conceptual design, artificial intelligence programming, and graphics and special effects programming within the gaming industry.

The degree program also offers a concentration in Game Programming.
