DC 402 Writing the Feature Film I

This course emphasizes telling a story cinematically in terms of action and the reality of characters portrayed. The difference between the literary and visual medium is explored through individual writing projects and group analysis. The fundamental terminology, resources, tools and techniques that are essential to the professional screenwriter are taught. Students are required to write a feature length screenplay.
