Course Description
This is a graduate course in databases that introduces the principals and issues in database design and implementation. Topics covered include: conceptual database modeling, logical designs using the relational database model, relational algebra, implementation techniques using query languages, functional dependencies, normalization, and physical design and indexing structures. PREREQUISITE(S): NONE.
