ACM/NSF SafeConfig'09 Registration Scholarship

ACM/NSF SafeConfig'09 Registration Scholarship

We are pleased to announce Student Registration Scholarship to attend the ACM Workshop on
Assurable & Usable Security Configuration (SafeConfig), Collocated with ACM CCS 2009,
that will be held in Chicago, November 9, 2009. We will have a limited number of scholarships.
The plan is to give up to 10 complementary registrations and 10 registrations with more than 50% discount (the registration is $205, but you will pay only $85) .

The workshop addresses important and timely issues in network & system security automation, hardening and configuration. Please see the complete program at http://www.arc.cs.depaul.edu/~ehab/ccs/safeconfig09/

There will be THREE invited speakers who are leading experts in this area:
Tony Sager (National Security Agency),
Kent Landfield (McAfee)
and John Banghart (NIST).

The workshop will also include papers presentations and panel
discussion. The workshop provides an excellent opportunity to meet with
government agencies, industry leaders
and researcher int his area.

Application deadline is *November 4th, 5:00pm*. No applications will be accepted after this date.

Accelerated Admission is your chance to complete the graduate admission process in one short evening! You will have the opportunity to:

1) Receive an admissions decision
2) If admitted, meet with a faculty advisor
3) Select and register for classes
